Tailwhip Comedy, LLC

Allie O is a former pediatric ICU nurse turned full-time comedian, writer, and producer. She owns comedycoach.org and Tailwhip Comedy, LLC. Additionally, she is a producer for Don’t Tell Comedy.

When she entered the comedy, she couldn’t find people interested in writing and there was minimal support for comedians with questions about the industry. Once she started gathering resources and finding success on stage throughout the USA, she was eager to share her methods with other comedians trying to break into the scene.

Allie's story of leaving critical care nursing to pursue comedy has been covered by multiple new sources. In 2025, she was cast in YumCrunch's mini-sitcom, "Don't Mess with Roy". Allie produces and performs shows with Tailwhip & Don't Tell Comedy. Off the stage, she is a co-host of the podcast, "See Ya Later!" and co-creator of the comedy sketch channel, "Tailwhip TV". Allie has produced and performed throughout Florida with sold-out shows like, "Stand Up Showdown", "Joke Gym", and "Florida's Favorite Comedy Show*". Her mini special, podcast clips, and silly daily clips have a collective 1M views on social media. In addition to comedy, Allie maintains her dedication to ensuring the health and safety of underserved children in her community. Investigative journalist, Georgia Gee (from The Intercept, The New York Times, & HBO) collaborated with Allie. Gee wrote about Allie's unwavering advocacy in an article entitled, "The Trash School". Allie O has a story to tell and many questions to ask about our shared reality. She seamlessly blends her goofy, light-hearted perspectives with a carefully measured dose of dark wit.
